Winery Description: Perched at an elevation of 2,100 feet on Mount Veeder, Sky Vineyards is a family-owned winery specializing in Zinfandel and Syrah. The 14-acre estate benefits from eastern-facing slopes, volcanic soils, and a unique microclimate of sunny days and fog-cooled evenings, resulting in intensely flavored grapes. Committed to sustainable and organic farming practices, the winery employs dry farming, permanent cover crops, and encourages beneficial insects and birds. Off the power grid, Sky Vineyards relies on solar energy and minimal generator use. The winemaking process is hands-on, featuring open-top fermentation, manual punch-downs, and pressing with a traditional basket press. Each vintage showcases original label artwork by founder Lore Olds, reflecting the winery's artisanal approach.

While WineRelease is a passion project for us, we extend an invitation to wineries to join our "winery mailing list" page, providing an opportunity to expand their list of subscribers. Additionally, wineries can opt to "sponsor" WineRelease, showcasing their listings and wines in a distinctive red format for increased visibility.
