Winery Description: Located in the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley AVA, Chenoweth Wines is a boutique, family-owned winery with a rich history of farming in Sonoma County. The Chenoweth family has cultivated the land since the mid-1800s, transitioning from apple orchards to vineyards under Charlie's guidance in 2000. Charlie, renowned for his meticulous vineyard management, supplies premium grapes to esteemed wineries such as Patz & Hall and Kosta Browne. Amy, inspired by the exceptional wines crafted from their grapes, pursued winemaking studies at UC Davis and now leads the winery's production. Together, they produce limited quantities of high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, sourced from their estate vineyards—Home Ranch, Bootlegger's Hill, and Treehouse.

What is the monthly Retail Wine Release Sheets?

WineRelease.com Emails 'printer friendly' versions of wine releases for the month (in Adobe .PDF format) for wine retailers to post in their stores. To subscribe, email contactATWineRelease.com and replace "AT" with"@" and indicate you want to be on the retail list. You will receive the previous, present and next month's wine releases on or around the 20th of each month. There is no charge for the Retail Wine Release Sheets.

Will my Email address be kept private?

Yes, it will be kept private. We do not sell, rent, or distribute any names, postal addresses or Email addresses. You can view our privacy policy here.

Will I be inundated with Emails?

No, the monthly Email is the only regular Email you will receive (unless you also sign up to receive the monthly Retail Wine Release Sheets). There may be one or two additional announcements a year, but the monthly Email will be the primary Email you will receive.

Where do you get your information from?

Wineries send us information and we are signed up on thousands of winery email lists.

Where does our traffic come from?

Most of our traffic is repeat traffic or referral from current visitors. We are also well indexed on the search engines and directories so we get a fair amount of traffic when someone is searching for "wine releases".

How do I get my winery listed?

Email contactATWineRelease.com and replace "AT" with"@" and include your contact information (winery name, winery ava, Email, phone, contact name, etc.) and you will be contacted for your release information.

How do I update my listing?

Email contactATWineRelease.com and replace "AT" with"@" and include your release information (vintage, varietal, vineyard designation, release month/year, case production and retail release price).

How often is the site updated?

Usually three times a month. On the 15th when we publish the newsletter then we usually receive email updates from wineries from the newsletter blast so we update again around the 20th when we publish the retail wine release sheets and then around the 1st of the month.

How does WineRelease get paid?

While WineRelease is a passion project for us, we extend an invitation to wineries to join our "winery mailing list" page, providing an opportunity to expand their list of subscribers. Additionally, wineries can opt to "sponsor" WineRelease, showcasing their listings and wines in a distinctive red format for increased visibility. If you're interested in either of these opportunities or wish to advertise on WineRelease, please email us at contactATWineRelease.com. Replace "AT" with "@" in the email address.
