This month we had 48 winery updates and 29 wineries releasing wine.
Our friends stayed at the Cheval Blanc hotel in Paris and we dined at their restaurant Le Tout-Paris.
Dinner was great, the wine list was well appointed and the Puligny-Montrachet was excellent.
Outside the restaurant is the Chateau d'Yquem wall with over 30 vintages. The deeper the color, the older the wine. The oldest was 1936.
Oh, and can you believe there was a 375ml of Krug in the mini bar refrigerator for $250? Yes, there was. There was also a 375ml of Veuve Cliquot for $80. We skipped both... because we all know Champagne tastes better out of a magnum.
