Greetings from WineRelease.com, now 1,922 winery listings strong.
A few weeks ago, we had friends come over to make sausage... 75 pounds of sausage. It was our first annual sausage fest, and we had a great time.
My daughter, Mia, inspects 75 pounds of pork butt.
Our sausage table was complete with the my grandfather's sausage press in the foreground, electric spice grinder on the right, manual sausage grinder on the bottom left, uncut pork butt at the end of the table and ground sausage in the middle. We would mix a sample batch (middle left in the yellow bowl), cook it up on the grill and adjust the ingredients (spices, garlic, parsley, salt, red wine) and increase production to 10 lbs or so, then someone else would mix their own style and we would repeat the process.
We divided up the 75 pounds between 7 of us and each of our refrigerators stunk of garlic.
