This past weekend, my wife and I toured the Mosel river in Germany drinking great Riesling. The vineyards are incredibly steep.
So much for Napa's hillside ordinance (vineyards with ground slopes of 5% or greater are permitted only after Napa County approval of Erosion Control Plans).
