WineRelease.com's December 15, 2006 Monthly Newsletter.
Season's greetings from WineRelease.com, now 1,147 winery listings strong!
Happy Holidays from all of us at WineRelease.com (that means me).
As I sit here updating the site I am listening to Frank Sinatra sing "Jingle Bells", one of my favorite Christmas tunes.
I have already had three great holiday wine meals; one last Sunday at French Laundry with a 14 course lunch complete with a host of white wines and the following red wines; 89 Petrus, 96 Petrus, 94 Harlan, 88 Leroy "Les Beaux Monts", 97 Gaja Conteisa, 90 Jaboulet "La Chapelle" and we finished off with a 75 d'Yquem.
The second dinner was last night with my Henry Wine Group friends.
We dined on a delicious scallop and rack of lamb meal at Craig and Karen's house with various special bottles brought by all.
And last, but not least, I had friends over for the first Dungeness crab of the season a few weeks back.
What a treat. Just a few more to go then in January, when I get back from New York, I will begin dieting with all of you.
The holidays are the time to bring out the wine you have been saving all year to share with family and friends.
And now, on to the show...
