Jim Laube's chose the 1999 Klopp Ranch Pinot Noir as his Hot Wine Pick (The Wine Spectator On Line, 8/31/01) and Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine gave the 1999 Windsor Gardens 95 points and said "This stunning Pinot is simply brimming with ripe black cherries, and, if its accent is clearly on ripeness, it never lets go of its very deep and keenly centered fruit."
