Winery Information for: Old Creek Ranch

Winery Location: United States: California: Central Coast
Winery Founded: 1/1/1906
Winery Founded by: Antonio Riva
Winery Current Owner: The Holguin Family
Winery Description: Old Creek Ranch Winery's history dates back to 1906 when Antonio Riva, a chef from northern Italy with experience in Paris, London, and San Francisco, purchased the ranch and established the first winery on the property. In 1981, the Whitman family revitalized the estate by founding Old Creek Ranch Winery. Since 2015, the Holguin family has owned the winery, dedicating efforts to rejuvenate the vineyards, orchards, and overall aesthetics of the ranch. Nestled within the historic Old Creek Ranch, part of the original 22,000-acre Rancho Ojai Spanish land grant, the winery offers visitors a rustic and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy premium wines while relaxing in beautifully landscaped areas, making it a destination rather than just a quick stop for wine tasting. The property features meandering pathways, picnic spots, and games like cornhole and bocce ball, providing a serene setting to savor meticulously crafted wines that reflect the rich heritage and natural beauty of the region.
