Winery Description: Parsonage Family Winery is a boutique, family-run vineyard and winery located in Carmel Valley, California. Established in 1998 by Bill and Mary Parsons, along with their daughters Rachael, Ali, and Brooke, the seven-acre, south-facing hillside vineyard was the first in Carmel Valley to plant Syrah. The vineyard also cultivates Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The winery is known for producing big, bold red wines, including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. The tasting room, located at 19 East Carmel Valley Road, offers visitors an intimate experience to sample their handcrafted wines. Parsonage remains a family-operated venture, with Ali's husband, Frank Melicia, serving as winemaker and vineyard manager.
