  • QPRwines' Wine Values for 2001-2003 Southern Rhone wines from France.
    At the high end the 2003 Clos des Papes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape averages 97 points, and at $90 it is 28 percent of the average $325 price for a similar-scoring wine earning a "Great Value" moniker. At $50 the 2003 Domaine Grand Veneur, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée les Origines averages 95 points and is 41 percent the average price, earning it a "Great Value" compared to similar-scoring wines. At $22, the 2003 Domaine des Pesquiers, Gigondas averages 91 points and earns a 49 percent "Great Value" rating. At the value end of $9, the 2003 E. Guigal, Côtes-du-Rhône averages 87 and earns a 34 percent "Great Value" QPR.
