WineRelease.com's February 15, 2002 Monthly Newletter

Greetings. WineRelease.com is now 538 wineries strong!

Read the press release on hitting 500 wineries:
http://winerelease.com/Other/PR01282002.html.

It has been a busy month. Over 70 wineries have updated new release dates for 2002.

Housekeeping issue: Many email addresses bounce back each month for various reasons. If you want to email me a secondary email address, I will email that address if your primary email address bounces back. Just reply to this email and put "Secondary Email Address" in the subject and write the secondary email in the body and you won't miss a newsletter in the future because of a bad address.

On to the show...

February 2002 Wine Releases

February's recommended mailing lists:

Mayacamas
One of Napa Valley's pioneer wineries, Mayacamas produces long lived Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. For Valentine's Day last year, I brought a bottle of 1972 Cabernet Sauvignon and it was one of the highlights of the meal.

Clos Mimi
Clos Mimi is a small and relatively new winery (1996) located in Santa Maria, California and owned by Tim and Mimi Spear. Tim's inspiration for producing 100% red wines from Syrah originated in July 1991 while hiking the steep granite vineyards of Hermitage with Jean-Louis Chave.
