The holidays are here! Happy Holidays!
I hope your Thanksgiving was enjoyable. I still have yet to purchase my Christmas presents. I put my niece in charge of buying for my other nieces. I figure she is more in tune with what they want than I am.
So I am rushing out the door for my annual holiday wine dinner with my monthly wine group (primarily wine trade folks from Henry Wine Group who know much more about wine than I do). We are dining at Frascati in San Francisco.
They depend on me for Bordeaux, so I am bringing a 96 Cos d'Estournel and 70 Phelan Segur... and Castenau de Suduiraut for dessert. I wanted to finish this newsletter before dinner so I don't drink and write and regret my prose in the morning.
